November 2013 - At the Kennel Club HPR Championships with an entry of 20 dogs, Deepthatch Pocona, handled by Jim field obtained a Diploma of Merit.

November 2012 Here is Purdey winning first prize at the Kennel Club Novice Field Trial. She then got 2nd at the Little Dalby Open stake, where Jim won the trophy for best handler. Judges were Jean Robertson and Ray Davies. For the novice on 17th November, judges were Mark Firmin, Lee Loveridge. Kennel club FT Judges G Card, Liza Brown. Purdey is now the 11th Deepthatch dog to obtain a Kennel Club Stud Number.


September 2012 - Jim Field and Deepthatch Pocona with their winnings at the Novice Working Test at Ashdown Forest Vizsla Club Event - 47 dogs in total, and Pocona only dropped two points the entire day [1 point on the water and 1 point on the retrieve] to win the Trial

10th June 2012 - Lehaunstown Cure the Blues of Deepthatch [By Major King x Deepthatch Niffty Cait [litter sister to Lexi]] winning 1st Novice Dog at the GSPC 50th Anniversary Show. Came away with the Brownridge Tankard, which has my name and Deepthatch Cinnamon engraved on it for 1972 and1973.

29th April 2012 - Under specialist judge Maureen Nixon, Deepthatch Piermon [owned by Simone Cunliffe-Lister] achieved 2nd in Post Graduate Dog and 1st in Good Citizen's Dog. Deepthatch Pocona [owned by ourselves] obtained 1st in Post Graduate Bitch, which had an entry of 16. Sincere thanks to Maureen.

13th April 2012 - On 13th April, Durley had a working test for the SW Group of the GSP club. 1st in Novice was David Burden's Deepthatch Pippa,under judges Peter Terry and Sue Pitman.
